  1. Love the Sanguisorba with its spikes, unusual, the rose and nigella are very pretty too. Not many of my nigella have come up, only in one area, not sure why.

    • Hi Pauline,

Nigella haven’t done so well here either; I’ve a couple of large plants but all the rest are tiny and rather pathetic – similar to the poppies and various other seeds – nothing grown from seed has done well this year for me. I’ve had to actually buy some cosmos because mine are still only around 10cm tall and very, very weedy.

    • Hi Donna,

The middle one is Sanguisorba – Burnet. If you’re ever unsure of a plant, just over your cursor over the image, after a second or two a box with their name will pop up and usually I’ve named them.

    • Hi Cheryl,

You don’t have any Sanguisorba??? Lol, well I never! I thought you would’ve! :D
Yes, indeed you need to get lots and lots!! Not that I’d ever encourage you buying more….

      *whistles*

Knee is good thanks; it was playing up a little this morning at work but otherwise has been fine. I’ve even been able to curl up on the sofa this evening.

  2. Hi Liz! I’m back finally! :)
That sangisorba is BEAUTIFUL what is it? I love, I want it. I’m kind of stalking you and your plants hu? What you have is what I want… Lol!

    • Hi Alberto,

      Great to see you back!
And it looks like you’re on the look out for more plants :D

The Sanguisorba is ‘pink tanna’, I also have another, ‘saguisorba obtusa’ which isn’t blooming and last I looked, didn’t seem to look like it would (unless it’s a late bloomer).
