  1. Hi Liz! I love the geum and the millium too. I always fear geums would somehow disappear in my garden, they look so delicate and small to me that I never manage to bring some plant home. I should try sooner or later.

    • Hi Alberto,

      I don’t think the Geum will disappear, place some nice grasses around them so their stems intermingle and it’ll be OK. I’ve Stipa, quaking oats and Festuca around mine and I think they’re OK. Actually the grasses cover the leaves nicely as I don’t think the Geums have very good foliage.
      These blooms are larger than you imagine I think – probably 5cm across, maybe more. And the stem has quite a few blooms on it, so they are noticeable!

  2. So pretty! I worked on a photo of ‘Totally Tangerine’ and almost posted it today but the decided it didn’t fit in with the others so well. I thought it was an OK close-up but yours is soooooo much better. More light and detail and magic. Did you use a macro lens? You are amazing!
