Projects

The idea of these pages are to let visitors know what’s going on in and around my garden. There’s never any major work, unless of course extending borders is considered major…

A gardener is never happy with their work, however for me it’s more a case of having inherited the garden when we bought the house, it is taking me a number of years to get round to working on everything. I decided to work in areas, otherwise it was too overwhelming to be able to tackle everything at once. Being a relatively new gardener and working full time/studying full time I just don’t have the time nor money resources to pour into having a complete make-over and finishing the job within a few months.

We moved into the house in April 2008 and I am still not happy. Some areas I have only just begun working on, and the front garden until now has largely gone ignored; only the odd plant has been put in, the occasional weeding session and layer of bark mulch put on.
